Gamblin Safflower Oil 4.2 oz

Gamblin Safflower Oil is a very pale, slow drying oil. For solvent-free painting, Gamblin safflower oil can be used for cleaning brushes while you are painting. After your painting session brushes can then be cleaned with Gamsol and/or soap and water (try Savvysoap). Gamblin Safflower oil can also be used as a painting medium to increase flow and slow drying of oil paints. As a medium It should be used sparingly. Using too much of it can result in wrinkling. You can create a slow drying, low viscosity painting medium by mixing equal amounts of Gamblin Safflower Oil and Gamsol to create a slow drying, low viscosity painting medium.
